Welcome to Langdale View, a comfortable two bedroom holiday lodge
Langdale View is traditional wooden style lodge located in a quieter area of White Cross Bay backing on to woodland. The lodge is ideal for families or couples sleeping up to 4 guests.
The lodge welcomes up to 2 small to medium sized dogs, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
The lodge is open plan with living area to one side of the lodge and kitchen / dining area to the other.
Accommodation Details
Living area:
- Cosy living area with traditional wooden ceiling and walls
- Furniture includes a 2 seater and 3 seater settee plus coffee table
- For your entertainment there is a TV and DVD player
- Feature fire surround with electric effect fire
Kitchen and dining area:
- Wooden rectangular table and chairs
- Compact kitchen, well equipped with gas cooker and hob
- Built in fridge with small freezer compartment plus kettle and toaster, cutlery, crockery and utensils
Master bedroom:
- The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and pine style dressing table
Second bedroom:
- The second bedroom has two full size single beds and fitted wardrobe
- Bedside cabinet / draws with lamp
Family bathroom:
- The bathroom has a corner walk-in shower, toilet and sink and a shaving point/mirror plus heated towel rail
Other information:
- Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round
- The lodge is located in a quieter part of White Cross Bay
Need to know
What’s included:
A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. All gas and electricity, bed linen and towels.
Please bring your own swimming towels when using the leisure facilities.
Arrival and Departure Time
- Arrival time from 3.30pm
- Departure by 10.00am
- Weekend special – 2 night weekend specials depart at 5pm on Sunday
Accessibility
Lily Tarn is accessed by 4 steps to the main door which is located at the back of the lodge; adjacent to the parking area.
Alternatively, you can access the lodge via the little foot bridge and 3 steps to the front decking area.
Dogs
The lodge welcomes up to 2 small to medium sized dogs by arrangement.
As per our Terms and Conditions, all dogs must be over the age of 6 months and fully house trained.
Dogs are not permitted to sit/sleep on the furniture, in the bedrooms and are NOT to be left unattended under any circumstances in the lodge at any time.
There is a small supplement per dog, per stay – Please check current charges.
Infants (Up to 24 months)
A travel cot is provided free of charge. The travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only (with a squeeze) and will be left in the lodge for you to put up. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
Unfortunately, we do not have facility for a high chair within the lodge.
Outside Area
The deck is fully enclosed, secure and gated.
We ask that BBQ’s are not used.
Double patio doors lead from the main living area onto a large deck to the front of the lodge.

Parking space adjacent to lodge for 2 cars.

Please note that due to the continued Covid Pandemic, facilities at White Cross Bay may be restricted and / or not available. Potentially, facilities such as bar, food, entertainment, swimming pool etc may still be affected; even if restrictions are relaxed.
Park Information
White Cross Bay, Windermere
White Cross is ideally located on the shores of Lake Windermere; an excellent location to take in the wonderful surrounding scenery and explore the Lake District with its many attractions and walks. A truly wonderful location.
A wonderful lakeside location
Situated just off the A591 between the villages of Windermere and Ambleside; White Cross Bay has a range of onsite facilities.
It’s also ideally located to explore the local attractions such at the famous Windermere Lake Cruises and The World of Beatrix Potter at Bowness on Windermere or visit the many local bars and restaurants at Windermere and Ambleside.
Leisure facilities on site
Leisure facilities on site includes an indoor heated swimming, sauna and gym.
There is bar ‘The Boathouse’ which serves a full range of meals and drinks, with weekly entertainment for both children and adults; takeaway facilities are also available.
Outdoor there is a beer garden, children’s play area, all weather multi-purpose games area and woodland walks. Feel free to enjoy a picnic in one of the parks idyllic locations or adjacent to the lake shore taking in its picturesque views.
- There is a charge for use of the leisure facilities; payable at reception – Currently £15.
- A leisure pass covers all people staying in a holiday home on White Cross Bay for the duration of the stay.
- During peak times, it is likely guests will need to book swimming sessions and / or activities in advance.
- Leisure Facilities are subject to the charges and prevailing rules at time of stay.
